The Model JIC-2A, 8" index table is the smallest diameter in PDC's lineup. The 8" gives you smooth acceleration/deceleration characteristics, and is ideal for applications with low weight and compact size requirements.The 8" yields the lowest profile in the PDC line - only 3 5/8" high. Twin drive rollers accomplish rigid, in-station locking. Advanced manufacturing techniques enable the 8" to be assembled for quick delivery at a very competitive price.

8" Index Table Specifications

  • Index Stations: Available in 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, 10, 11, or 12 stations.
  • Power Source: Air or Electric Motor.
  • Actuation: Cycle timer terminated by integral proximity switch.
  • Index Time: .65 to 3 seconds.
  • Accuracy: ± .0015" at a 4" radius.
  • Inertia Load Capacity: Total Weight (fixtures, tooling plate and parts) 75 lbs.
    maximum; 13" radius (from center) maximum.
  • Options: Tooling plates machined and mounted at factory (submit blueprints for quotation). Seals to keep coolants, metal chips, and other debris away from drive mechanism.

Standard Equipment

Unless quoted otherwise, it is the customer's obligation to install, wire and pipe the index table for operation. Standard items supplied by PDC are as follows:Air Motor Units: Air motor, proximity switch, solenoid valve, filter and lubricator.Electric Motor Units: Includes motor, proximity switch and pulleys. (Customer to mount electric motors and supply belt.)
