WEISS enters the cleanroom arena

New CLEANLINE product range for applications in cleanrooms

Maximum output, excellent reliability and impressive precision. With these core values at the heart of its product philosophy, WEISS is keen to tap new market potential in the cleanroom arena. Under the name CLEANLINE, the manufacturer of components for the automation sector is now launching a new product range for cleanroom applications.

All CLEANLINE components are proven high performance modules – adapted to the requirements of cleanroom assembly processes in the fields of medical engineering, healthcare, micro systems or semiconductor technology. Every single component has a certificate for ISO air purity class 6 or better.

The CLEANLINE range currently consists of one electromechanical rotary indexing table, one torque rotary indexing table, one direct-drive pick & place module and one linear assembly system. Anyone familiar with the complex commissioning procedures of standard commercial automation components will be pleasantly surprised by the CLEANLINE range. The WEISS Application Software (WAS), developed entirely in-house, also facilitates fast and simple commissioning of WEISS components in cleanrooms.

Rotary indexing tables

TC150T CL
Compact electromechanical rotary table with tried and tested cam drive and the highest level of precision. Certified for air purity class 5 in line with ISO 14644-1

TO220 CAB
Torque rotary indexing table with exceptional dynamic performance and absolute measuring system. No wearing parts. Certified to air purity class 1 as per US Federal Standard 209E, which corresponds approximately to ISO class 3.

Pick&Place

HP140T CL6
Direct-drive pick&place module. Combines two freely positionable axes with exceptional dynamics. The complete, ready-to-install solution. Certified to air purity class 6 as per ISO 14644-1.

LS280 CL
Unique linear assembly system with fast cycle rates and short workpiece changeover times. Sophisticated modular design. Certified to air purity class 6 as per ISO 14644-1.
