Dieter Weiß invents the "Kraftei" (pneumatic mechanical device).
In the following years, rotary indexing tables are developed to improve speed, running behaviour and precision.

Dieter Weiß completes his engineering studies and founds WEISS KG.
The company is based in Neckarweihingen, near Ludwigsburg, Germany.
